Tell techs what to do on a kind of job: job sheets and checklists

For the office

A job sheet tells the tech what a service is. A checklist is a list of steps the tech ticks. Make both in Settings. Only the owner and office staff can change them. Phones get changes when they have signal.

Make a job sheet

  1. Open Settings, then Job sheets, then tap New job sheet.
  2. Type the Service, like “Quarterly general pest”. “Scorpion” also fits “Scorpion callback”. You get one job sheet per service.
  3. Tap what to treat under Treat for and the areas under Where.
  4. Under Use, tap Add a product and pick it. Fill Mix rate and Method, or leave them empty to use the product’s own.
  5. Write a note in For the tech (optional) if you want.
  6. Tap Save job sheet. It needs at least one pest, area or product.

The tech reads the sheet on the stop before tapping Start service. Start service then fills the record in with those pests, areas and products, but only if nothing is on it yet. The tech types how much was used and fixes anything that was different.

To change one, tap Edit on its row. In the form, Remove takes the job sheet off the phones.

Make a checklist

  1. Open Settings, then Checklists, then tap New checklist.
  2. Type the Name.
  3. In Shows on services that contain, type words separated by commas, like “commercial, restaurant”. Leave it empty to show it on every stop.
  4. Type the steps, one per line, up to 30.
  5. Tick Required if a tech shouldn’t finish the stop until every step is ticked. A certified applicator can still close it without, by giving a reason, and you get an alert. A trainee asks the office.
  6. Tap Save checklist.

The tech sees the steps before Start and ticks them after. The answers stay with the record, and you see them on the stop’s record in the office website.

Remove a checklist. Tap Edit on its row, then Remove. It leaves the phones. Records already finished keep their answers.

Good to know

  • Job sheets feed the “Short for stops coming up” list on the Trucks tab of Products, so list the products a service uses.
